National Tartan Day Opening Concert - The Battlefield Band Peter Norton Symphony Space, Broadway at 95th Street, NYC Battlefield Band, one of the most successful touring bands in Celtic music, has been at the forefront of Scottish music for 35 years. The program will open with Alasdair Gillies, the reigning World Champion Solo Bagpiper World Music Institute in association with N.Y. The service is open to all. The Brunch is a ticketed event and seating is limited. Saint Andrew's Society NY and NY Tartan Day Committee Tickets for brunch can be purchased until March 26th by sending a check to NY Tartan Day, 150 East 55th Street, NYC 10022.
Overseas attendees tickets will be held for them at the door. First come first served.

New York's National Tartan Day Parade Sixth Avenue The New York Tartan Day committee invites all pipe bands, individual pipers and drummers, and Scottish groups to join in celebration of our common heritage and culture and take part in New York's National Tartan Day Parade. The Scotland Run (10K) & the Scottish Pavillion Central Park, NYC Up to 15,000 runners and spectators are expected for this 10K race, which is a leading event of New York's 2004 Tartan Week celebrations. Come cheer on the atheletes, or head towards the Scottish Pavillion at the finish line which will feature food, drink, and live entertainment, as well as information about Scottish culture, tourism, and much more!
