The Wallace Award® Gala Dinner 2011
The Directors of the American-Scottish Foundation® invite you to attend the ASF Wallace Award® Gala Dinner on Tuesday November 1st 2011. The event will honour noted historian and author Duncan A. Bruce, who served on the ASF board for many years, and the Rt. Hon. The Lord Smith of Kelvin, Chairman of Scottish and Southern Energy and the Weir Group.
Past recipients include The Forbes Family, Sir Sean Connery, Senator Trent Lott and Euan Baird.
The evening also celebrates the 55th Anniversary of the ASFs formation by Lord Malcolm Douglas-Hamilton. The evening will benefit the ongoing work of the ASF, and the Scottish Community Foundation; with which the ASF works in association in the United States and of which Lord Smith is Patron.
There are many ways to be involved from attending the Gala, to advertising in the Journal Program and to donating to the silent or live auction.
