The mission of The American-Scottish Foundation®, Inc. is to be the pre-eminent, national, US-based not-for-profit membership organization dedicated to advancing contemporary Scottish interests and meeting contemporary Scottish needs in America.

The Foundation's purpose is to conduct such activities as will enable it to fulfil its mission. Activities include fundraising, education, social interaction, facilitation, consultation and promotion of inward travel to Scotland. The Foundation's policy is to collaborate with and support Scottish cultural and commercial organizations.
